RIC Electrics teamed up on this project with two other NECA (National Electrial & Communications Association) members. The project consisted of the installation of 99.6kW of solar generation on 4 buildings located in 3 different positions on the property. In the design of the project, we used the latest material and equipment for the project to ensure the best efficiency of solar panels and the most efficient installation times were achieved by using the latest gear. This project was the first in Australia to use the Sunpower 435w solar panels with an efficiency of 20.4%.
A wireless communications system was also installed to gather information from the system installed.
Monthly reports show that the system has been designed spot on to cover the day time loads of the club with minimal export to the grid.
Overall the Client is extremely happy with the project and the energy savings have exceeded their expectations.
